On the left - the picture was probably taken before Yantay left for Taiwan. We lived in Pulog. At this time, grandpa was stranded in HongKong and could not return home. Grandma would go and sell precious stones, while all the brothers worked and go to night school. Grandma would often faint then when aggravated - see how thin she was.
Picture on the right - this is when grandpa, grandma and I were invited by a church family to have a holiday in Baguio, Philippines. It was nice.
On the far right, this was taken also in San Juan, but this is our last home in the Philippines before we emigrated to Canada. The occasion was a visit from Yantay's good buddy. The older gentleman above me was grandma's cousin. His father doted on grandma when she was young. He often carried her around on his back (grandma's story- people often comment that he spoils her. He was also the one who carries care packages to her after marrying grandpa).
